Guy Matheson joined SHH in 2004 as a Project Architect, working on high-end, one-off housing schemes, as well as on commercial-sector projects, such as SHH's dynamic, new-build Nu Asia restaurant scheme in Bahrain. Originally from New Zealand, Guy graduated in 1996 with a BBSc in Building Science before going on to take a BArch (Hons) in Architecture from the Victoria University of Wellington. He then worked at Wellington practices such as Studio of Pacific Architecture, before coming to the UK in 2003. Guy initially worked for Nicholas Burwell Architects in London, where he specialised in large-scale residential schemes and listed and historically-sensitive buildings, honing skills that he has further developed in his time at SHH.
