





South African-born architect Stuart McLauchlan is not only the longest-serving of SHH's Associates, but also one of the longest-serving members of SHH staff, having joined the company in 1997. In over a decade, he has worked right across the spectrum of project types, from luxury residences to shops, ground-breaking workspaces such as the live transmission studios with satellite uplink facilities for American broadcasters Worldspace (in a listed building in Soho Square) or the striking Camden Island project, as well as a number of award-winning leisure centres for L.A. Fitness and the new concept 37º centres for Ark Leisure Management Ltd. Stuart is a real team player, able both to interpret client requirements and manage teams on site to the most positive outcome and always likes to stay ahead of the curve in understanding the latest processes, materials and technologies.
