SHH have completed the total refurbishment of a luxury property for a private family client. SHH’s clients bought the property in the ultra-desirable north London area of Hampstead in July 2003. Having seen a different (multi-award-winning!) project in the area by SHH (see ‘Hampstead House’), the new clients knew immediately whom they wanted to work with in order to transform the property into the luxury family home they envisaged. The four-storey property, one of two mirror-image semi-detached houses, was built in the Edwardian era and had been converted in the early 1960’s, as so many north London houses were, into three individual apartments. The brief to SHH was to rip out the conversions and completely remodel the interiors to create a single, stunning, light-filled home.
