SHH's Creative Director Neil Hogan has been invited to speak at next month's London Design Festival. The Festival, an increasingly prestigious part of the world's annual design calendar, features launches and events taking place all over the capital. Neil has been asked to be one of four speakers at Somerset House on September 22nd, focusing on the company's experiences with the joinedupdesignforschools project, for which SHH contributed the highly-successful 'Hub' scheme: a school cafeteria and IT space for north London high school Acland Burghley. The idea behind joinedupdesignforschools, run by The Sorrell Foundation, is to work creatively with pupil teams within schools to improve everything from their uniforms to their learning environments. The award-winning 'Hub' project, highlighted in books and magazines around the world, featured zoned dining and IT areas, as well as all-weather stainless steel 'pods', which were a huge hit with the school's pupils.
