Little Italy, the company behind London’s much-loved Bar Italia and the Little Italy restaurant on Soho’s Frith Street, is moving north – but not very far! The company’s first sortie outside of the capital will see them taking the ethos of great food (and coffee!) and a party atmosphere to Potter’s Bar, where a new two-storey bar and restaurant called Nolita (short for ‘north-of-little-italy’) is due to open in late Summer 2005, designed by SHH. The new destination venue will see the transformation of what is currently a standalone building, sporting a mock tudor exterior and surrounded by an uninterrupted bitumen car-park, into a stylish Italian 2-storey restaurant, bar and dancefloor with landscaped surrounds.
