The latest SHH project to open is a stunning new 2500 sq m health and fitness facility called 37º, located within the More London Riverside complex on London’s South Bank, for client and operator ARK Leisure Management Ltd. The new centre includes a 465 sq m gym, a 20m swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms, dance and spin studios, an indoor golf lounge and a number of satellite offers, including a medical centre, hair and beauty and hair salon, sunbeds and a café / juice bar. The centre has a bold, industrial design aesthetic, with stand-out features including a dynamic double-height volume for the gym area, traversed by a 5m high bridge/walkway, brightly-coloured feature walls, glimpses through the different areas via a series of artfully-placed windows and walkways announced by copper-clad entrances, ending with a stunning, dark and atmospheric ‘bat cave’ swimming pool.
