As featured on the front cover of the Sunday Times HOME section, SHH have completed the remodelling and extension of a prominant 2,500 sq ft detached brick/stucco fronted 2,500sqft property, constructed in circa 1895. Occupied by the same family for 3 generations, the property had been loosely arranged as three separate apartments. SHH completely altered the building’s interior to create a highly contemporary living space with no internal corridors and a completely flexible ground floor arrangement, built around a central kitchen, which can be open to the dining and lounge areas or completely closed off thanks to sliding doors and walls. The rear of the house takes the form of glass doors, which fold back completely, allowing for a seamless indoor outdoor transition onto decking to the rear.
